Riverside is a township in Burlington County, in the Philadelphia-Camden metro area. The township has a total area of 1.6 square miles and a population around 8,000. Riverside Township borders Delanco Township and Delran Township. Riverside is part of the River Route, a Regional Redevelopment Area recognized as one of the top 10 growth regions in the country. In fact, Inc. magazine recently named Burlington County among the top 10 “hottest” areas in the nation. Riverside is about 20 minutes from downtown Philadelphia and 90 minutes from Manhattan with easy access via River Line trains. Riverside has generous residential avenues and streets centered on a “small town Main Street” business district. This puts residents only minutes away from the light rail station.
