New Britain Township is located in central Bucks County, 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia.  The semi-rural expanse of New Britain Township is nearly evenly divided with residential development and agricultural activity.  The region offers an open, spacious feeling even in its residential areas through zoning regulations that require one-half-acre minimum lot sizes in most areas.  The township surrounds the welcoming small towns of Chalfont Borough and New Britain Borough.  Montgomery Mall is close to home for expanded shopping.
