Climate

 

The Metropolitan Charleston region enjoys an idyllic climate that range from temperate to subtropical. Four distinct but mild seasons encourage an active lifestyle around the calendar year. The average daily temperatures range from a high of 73.5 to a low of 54.2 and the average annual precipitation is 51.59 inches. The average relative humidity is 75 percent. The first frost usually occurs mid December and the last frost is most often mid February.
