Springfield Gardens is a neighborhood in southeastern Queens. It is bordered by St. Albans to the north, Laurelton and Rosedale to the east, John F. Kennedy International Airport to the south, and Farmers Boulevard to the west. Major residential development came in the 1920s as Long Island Rail Road service was expanded to the area. Today, many streets preserve the original low-rise suburban appearance. Springfield Gardens features both single-family and two-family homes.
