Roxbury Township was founded in 1740 and has a rich heritage. It was originally a center for Iron Mining and forges that supplied George Washington and the Continental Army. Dotted with lovely lakes, Roxbury Township offers an attractive residential haven that enjoys easy access to Interstate 80, Routes 46 and 10. Drives along tree-lined streets offer a pleasing mix of well-kept older homes and newer single-family developments. Ledgewood Mall and Roxbury Mall are located within the township.
