Covering 11 square miles, Ocean Township has experienced tremendous growth in both residential and commercial sectors in recent decades. Local retail centers now include three shopping centers and two malls. It is bordered on the north by Eatontown and West Long Branch; on the east by Allenhurst, Deal, Long Branch; on the south by Asbury Park, Interlaken, and Neptune; and on the west by Tinton Falls. Ocean Township offers five parks for various recreational activities, and also offers a membership based pool and tennis club for residents.
