Haddon Heights is a wonderful little town six miles from the Liberty Bell, just below Haddonfield. At about 7,500 people it is half the size of Haddonfield and Collingswood but twice the small town feeling. There are five elementary schools and a high school. It is only two miles from the PATCO Speedline and Center City Philadelphia. Camden County Park runs through Haddon Heights and provides a playground, bike trails, disc throwing and an area for entertainment. The Borough also has sports fields and a wonderful old growth woods on Lippincott Lane. Last year Haddon Heights was named a Classic Town of Greater Philadelphia by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, one of 11 towns chosen. Classic Towns offer a high quality of life with a minimum of auto use, close to public transportation, shops and restaurants and are walkable. The town offers a unique blend of friendliness, excellent schools, a convenient location and a diverse housing stock. Haddon Heights is a great place to live, to raise children and to do business.
