Audubon is a borough in Camden County, in the Philadelphia-Camden metro area. It was named for the naturalist, John James Audubon. It borders Audubon Park, Haddon Heights, Haddon Township, Haddonfield, Mount Ephraim, and Oaklyn. The borough has a total area of 1.5 square miles and a population around 9,000. Audubon has the distinction of being the “Most Patriotic Small Town in America” as it is the hometown of three Medal of Honor Recipients. Throughout the borough’s history, the high school sports programs have had great success statewide and have produced dozens of college and professional players.
