Delanco is a township in Burlington County, in the Philadelphia-Camden metro area. The township has a total area of 3.4 square miles and a population around 3,000. It was named for its location between the Delaware River and Rancocas Creek. Delanco Township borders Beverly, Edgewater Park Township, Willingboro Township, Delran Township, and Riverside Township. Delanco offers a lovely and unique waterfront community that began as a summer retreat for Philadelphia residents who wanted to escape the summer heat.
