Ventnor is a city in Atlantic County, on the Atlantic Ocean.  The city has a total area of 3.5 square miles, and a population around 13,000.  Ventnor City is located on 8.1-mile long Absecon Island, along with Atlantic City to the northeast, and Margate City and Longport on the southeast.  Bordered by the bay on one side and the ocean on the other, Ventnor harmonizes modest residential neighborhoods with multi-million-dollar homes and manors. The local boardwalk offers pedestrian access to Atlantic City's more famous Boardwalk.  Fine restaurants and shops line Ventnor Avenue, and the beaches are outstanding.
