TBD Gallagher Ranch On Park Rd 37

Please view video under virtual tour link. Approximately 1,500 acres, known as The North Pasture, a portion out of the old Gallagher Ranch, offering a rare opportunity to own an extraordinary piece of Texas Hill Country. Peter Gallagher, an Irish immigrant and civil engineer, was doing engineering work for the Mexican government in the 1800s, when Texas was still part of Mexico. The North Pasture encompasses rolling pastures, high limestone hills, dramatic bluffs, spring-fed Sheep Creek and breathtaking long-range views across the San Geronimo Valley toward San Antonio. Indian Springs, Rustler's Lookout, historic horse trails, ancient oaks, fossilized shells and evidence of Native American activity add depth to this remarkable landscape. Abundant white-tailed deer, wild turkey and diverse native and migratory wildlife inhabit the property, which has a long history of cattle grazing, hunting and family stewardship. The current owners' family has owned and enjoyed their part of this Texas treasure since the 1920s. A rare opportunity to become part of the continuing story of an historic Texas ranch. The historic Gallagher Ranch headquarters and improvements located on other portions of the original ranch are not included. The Gallagher Ranch name is not included or conveyed with the sale.
