The project involves the redevelopment of an existing two-story, 16,042-square-foot commercial office building into a five-story residential development. The project received administrative approval through the Design Review & Zoning Office and will provide 77 residential units within approximately 67,750 square feet of total building area. The redevelopment will repurpose the existing commercial property for multifamily residential use while significantly expanding the building's overall size and capacity. The proposed five-story structure will provide additional housing within the existing developed site and represents a substantial increase in both usable floor area and residential occupancy. The approved development is located in the Downtown section of Bridgeport in an area where redevelopment opportunities have proved successful.
