It's hard for a family of three Realtors to write the description of their own home, so we thought we'd tell you why we have loved living here. It’s the quiet, early mornings with coffee on the deck, looking out over the private, tree-lined backyard-and the loud, crazy afternoons with a party in full swing, steaks sizzling on the barbecue and a giant bounce house filled with kids in the yard. It's the peaceful family dinners around the kitchen table-and the big dinner parties with friends gathered in the formal dining room. It's hanging out together in the family room, the true heart of our home-and holiday parties with a fire blazing in the fireplace and friends crowded around the bar. It's our son and his friends playing in the basement on any given afternoon-and the guys claiming the space for a friendly poker game later that night. And then there's Oradell itself. The 10-minute walk to grammar school. The easy transportation to Manhattan. The beautiful neighborhood and wonderfully oversized property. The friendly, small-town feel. The library! The kind of community where everyday life just feels a little easier and a little more connected. This house has been the backdrop for so many different chapters of our lives-quiet mornings, busy school days, family dinners, holidays, parties, friendships and countless ordinary moments that turned out to be some of the best ones. Now it's ready to become home to someone new-and we can't wait to see what memories are made here next.
