HGTV enthusiasts, contractors, flippers, and overly confident DIYers—this one’s for you! This 3-bedroom, 1-bath home offers unlimited potential… mostly because nearly everything needs to be redone. I can't even pretend this house is cute or cozy. Let’s get the obvious out of the way: the roof has a hole in it. Not a cute skylight. Not an architectural feature. A hole. On the plus side, the siding and windows are hanging in there and doing an admirable job of keeping the drafts to a minimum. We celebrate the wins where we can. Inside? Bring your imagination, because calling this a “fixer-upper” might be giving it a little too much credit. 3 bedrooms and one bath exist today, but after the renovation, who knows? Open concept? Four bedrooms? Giant walk-in closet? Indoor pickleball court? At this point, you’re working with a fairly blank canvas. You’ll need more than a snail-breeding income to tackle this project, so bring your renovation budget along with your hammer, nails, work gloves, and perhaps a contractor who owes you a favor. Not proficient in construction? No problem—YouTube has approximately 47 million DIY videos. How hard could it be? This is not move-in ready. This is not weekend-project ready. This is “tell your friends you bought a house for $34,900 and watch their facial expressions” ready. If you’ve got vision, skills, cash, and just the right amount of questionable judgment, this might be the project you’ve been waiting for.
