Lot #7 Sky Ridge Way

Some lots make you work to imagine the finished cabin. Lot 7 makes it pretty easy. Dappled Morning Light is a surveyed 0.957-acre ridge-top lot with a relatively flat driveway approach and a flat cabin site surrounded by trees. Morning sunlight filters through the canopy, and the site looks toward Cast Away Fishing Pond and the valley beyond. For buyers wanting mountain scenery without giving up convenient access to the building site, this one checks a lot of boxes.

The setting also gives an STR owner something easy to market—a wooded cabin, sunrise light and water views inside a gated mountain development. Existing STR cabins within Sky Ridge Retreats are already producing well, while buyers looking for their own cabin get the same amenities without having to rent it at all.

City water, underground electric and high-speed internet are available. Sky Ridge has a well-built and maintained road system along with maintained trails, Sky Ridge Overlook, Sky View Park and the Boulder Trail. Cast Away Fishing Pond is currently under construction, as is Adventure Waters, an aerated swimming and recreation area planned with a walking path and fountain.

The development sits against Daniel Boone National Forest between Cave Run Lake and Red River Gorge, giving owners and guests plenty to do outside the gate as well. A separate pay lake is also being constructed across the road from the development and is not part of Sky Ridge Retreats.

Whether the plan is a rental cabin, weekend place or a little of both, Lot 7 offers one of the easier sites to picture finished—and that morning light is going to be tough to beat.
