Windsong Lane

Nobody moves to Corrales for the commute. They move for the part where you turn off Corrales Road and the noise just quits. Where the ditches run in the spring, the cottonwoods go gold in October, and there are horses in the yard down the lane like it's nothing. Where you can see stars from your own driveway. Actual stars. Just under an acre of it here, off Windsong Lane, with nothing on it yet. That's the good part. Nobody has decided anything for you. Where the portal goes, which way the kitchen faces, where the big windows land and whether you want the morning light or the evening. You get to stand out here on a Saturday with a coffee and work it out. Corrales Main is a few minutes down the road when you want dinner or the growers market on a Sunday. The bosque is right there. And the city is close enough to get to and far enough to leave. Come walk it around dusk. Bring whoever you'd build it with.
