It’s rare enough for a sub-million-dollar listing to hit the market in the uber-scenic Beaverkill Valley, but this charming 1940s cottage is truly special in its own right. But there is also a substantial fridge, electric stove and country cupboards for storage. The two downstairs bedrooms are off the long living room / dining area. The primary is pine paneled, while the other is whitewashed paneling and has a cozy desk space from a converted closet. Luxuriating in the clawfoot tub in the retro-styled bathroom is just one more way you know you’re not in your day-to-day routine. And the stacked washer/dryer in the corner is a handy amenity. Canoe, kayak or paddle board at nearby Big Pond, and when it’s time for a great meal, a brewery afternoon or some retail therapy, Livingston Manor is a picturesque 20 minute drive.
