Middle Creek RD

This 77± acre N. Fork Coquille River recreation and timber tract is part of Coos County timberland portfolio of 11 tracts being offered in a November 12 Sealed Bid Auction. It is located three miles north of the small community of Fairview. There is an estimated 1,100 feet of river frontage along northern portion of tract. Acquisition of this property provides opportunity for a secluded base camp to harvest timber and replant as a small tree farm. The property has not been managed since it was purchased by prior owner Menasha. It contains primarily residual stands of Douglas-fir and hardwoods. It is Site Class II, and has mostly rolling to moderate west-facing slopes, with an estimated 5 acres of open grassland. There is access from Middle Creek Road, two miles south of the property through BLM Road 27-11-7.0 (Hudson Ridge Road).
