Weichert Workforce Mobility Completes Annual Audit to Achieve Compliance With SSAE 16 Standards

Weichert Workforce Mobility—one of the world’s leading workforce mobility management companies—has announced that it has successfully completed its annual Service Organization Control (SOC) 1, Type II examination in accordance with the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) 16.

The scope of this year’s audit included Weichert’s internal controls that support the services it provides to customers in the areas of employee home sale and marketing, expense management processing, equity and mortgage processing, client implementation, client reporting, and various IT processes, among the major services. The auditors’ report found that Weichert’s controls meet or exceed the strictest global requirements and are operating effectively.

“Our Management Committee has long recognized the fiduciary responsibility we have to our clients and stakeholders, and our SSAE 16 unqualified report provides proof of our ongoing commitment to the highest standards of service quality and operational transparency,” said Joseph Hajjar, Weichert’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

SSAE 16 is a reporting standard for service organizations developed by the Auditing Standards Board (ASB) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. It replaces the Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) reports previously obtained by Weichert and provides globally-recognized guidelines for companies to assess the integrity and effectiveness of their provider’s internal controls and processes.
