Weichert, Realtors® Expands Its Franchise Network in California, Maryland, and Texas

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. – Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., the rapidly growing franchise arm of Weichert, Realtors®, continues to strengthen its national presence with franchise openings in Acton and Chula Vista, Calif., and in Ellicott City, Md., and Springtown, Texas.  Weichert® launched its first franchised office in January 2002 and now serves more than 330 markets in 32 states.    

Martin J. Rueter, president of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, welcomed the new affiliates and said, “In a challenging real estate climate, it’s gratifying to see quality companies in all parts of the country take on the Weichert brand, programs, and operating systems as a means of delivering enhanced support to their sales associates and greater value to the customer.”         

The new Weichert affiliates are:

  •  WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Resource Group, Acton, Calif.  Wendy Offshack, a real estate veteran of 30 years, is the broker-owner of this company, which serves Acton and surrounding counties and outlying areas of the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.  
  •  WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Traditions, Chula Vista, Calif.  Serving the San Diego area, this new company is owned by Sue Olivier, a 27-year broker and real estate educator. 
  • WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Caton Properties, Ellicott City, Md.  Bill Iampieri is the broker/owner of this 68-year-old firm, whose marketplace is the greater Baltimore area.  
  • WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Team Realty, Springtown, Texas.  This nine-year-old company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is owned by Brokers Lorene Deweese and Beth Dickens.
