185 Washington Avenue

Old Victorian gem in center of Saugerties Village. Hardwood floors, high ceilings and ornate plaster mouldings. Glorious tall bay windows in living room with built-in bookcases on either side of fireplace. Eat in kitchen with laundry and access to side porch and partially fenced in backyard. Formal dining room ties together the downstairs leading to living room, den and kitchen. Wide hallway upstairs connects to four bedrooms, each unique with character of an older home. Backyard is spacious, level with room for garden. Enjoy the Fourth of July parade on front porch and stroll into the village to see a movie, grab dinner or shop at one of the many great stores. Cantine Sports Complex just a short walk as well as the Saugerties Lighthouse, Seamon Park and farmers market. House needs TLC to bring it back to it's glory but worth the effort.
