Most people drive right past South Riverside Drive without knowing what's down through there. Tucked off on a quiet dead end, a block from the Doe River, is a 1950 two bedroom that's easy to overlook on paper and hard to leave in person. On a still morning you can hear the water from the porch. Downtown Elizabethton is a short walk in the other direction, and the Tweetsie Trail and covered bridge aren't much farther than that.
