North Hills is a village in located in the town of North Hempstead in Nassau County. It is conveniently located next to Interstate 495 and the Northern State Parkway. As of the 2000 census the population was 4,301 and it has a total area of 2.8 square miles, all of which is land. North Hills offers residents a private, gated community life style.
