North Haven is a village in Suffolk County. At the 2000 census the population was 743. It is about 38 miles from New Haven and about 48 miles from Bridgeport. The Village of North Haven is in the Town of Southampton. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.7 square miles, all of which is land.
