Mount Holly is a historic township in Burlington County.  It borders Westampton Township, Eastampton Township, Lumberton Township, and Hainesport Township.  The township has a total area of 2.9 square miles and a population around 10,800.  It is the county seat of Burlington County.  Mount Holly is characterized as a small and primarily residential community that excels in charming commercial development.  Mount Holly not only has a significant amount of commercial activity, it is home to a regional healthcare facility, Virtua Memorial Hospital Burlington County.  The township provides excellent schools, and local residents enjoy easy access to options for private-school education and respected institutions of higher education.  The expansive acreage and natural beauty of a 30-acre county park complements the township's well-organized recreation programs.  Tennis courts, swimming pools, golf courses, playgrounds, and athletic fields encourage outdoor enjoyment.
