Huntington Bay is a village in Suffolk County on East Neck on the North Shore of Long Island. As of the United States 2000 census, the population was 1,496. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.5 square miles, of which 1.0 square miles is land and 1.5 square miles of is water. The uniqueness of the Village is in the beautiful beaches and peaceful woodsy setting. It is a very safe community with tree lined roads, thus making it a wonderful place to raise a family. The Village has easy access to Huntington and all of its culture, including great restaurants and music, making this truly the most desirable place to live.
