Holly Springs

County: Cherokee

A charming community founded in 1906, today, more than 3,000 residents live in Holly Springs.  The name Holly Springs is derived from a cool spring lined with holly tress that once served as a local Indian gathering spot.  Enjoying a prime location along I-575, Holly Springs residents can easily access I-75.  This corridor provides immediate access to the entire greater Atlanta area.  Highways 20 and 140 are located nearby as well.  Although primarily a small, family-oriented community, in recent years, Holly Springs has shown commercial progress and has attracted a handful of impressive industries.
