Aston Township is a township in Delaware County with a population of 16,203 at the 2000 census. Aston is a well-developed and primarily residential community and provides a number of new construction developments in addition to charming older colonial homes. The Penn Delco School District features such facilities as a paved all-weather track, tennis courts, indoor pool, playing fields and a planetarium. Neumann University, a private co-educational Franciscan college located on the grounds of Our Lady of Angels Convent, is located in the northern portion of Aston. Regional Granite Run Mall in nearby Media is also a short distance away.
