Richlandtown is a borough in Bucks County. As of the 2000 census the population was 1,283. According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.2 square miles, all of which is land. The small community of Richlandtown Borough relies upon many of the Quakertown facilities, including four local shopping centers and the Quakertown Community Hospital. Recreational amenities include 130 acres of open space that offers numerous playgrounds, a swimming pool and tennis courts. Seasonal cultural and athletic programs are also supervised and draw enthusiastic crowds.
