Wilton, New York is a charming town just outside Saratoga Springs. It has a long history, first being settled in the 18th century. The town of Wilton was formed later, in the early 19th century. It is perhaps most famous as the birthplace of Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th president of the United States. The area surrounding the town is lush and verdant, and beautiful in every season. The town has about 16,000 people living in it. US Route 9 and Interstate 87 pass through the town.
