Garwood is a borough in Union County with a population over 4,000. The borough has a total area of 0.7 square miles, all of which is land. It is bordered by Westfield on the west and by Cranford on the east. Garwood Public Schools serve students in Kindergarten through eighth grade. Public school students for grades 9-12 attend Arthur L. Johnson High School in the neighboring Clark Public School District.
