The borough of Union Beach provides tranquil neighborhoods and a close-knit community spirit.  Like most of New Jersey's smaller resort communities, both boroughs began through the efforts of a land development company.  Hazlet and Middletown provide additional amenities including expanded retail options within an easy drive.  Recreational opportunities are outstanding, especially for those who appreciate oceanfront water sports.
