Neptune Township stretches from the Atlantic Ocean west to the Garden State Parkway and covers an area of eight square miles. The northern border is the City of Asbury Park and Ocean Township and the southern border is the Shark River estuary. It encompasses Ocean Grove and Shark River Hills. Other communities within Neptune Township are Mid-Town, Bradley Park, the Gables, Summerfield, Green Grove, Seaview Island and West Neptune. Known as the “crossroads of the Jersey Shore,” the township has attracted a significant influx of high-tech industries that enjoy close proximity to major highways. Major recreational amenities include coastal beaches, marinas, golf courses, and a number of parks in and nearby Neptune Township.
