From its agricultural roots, Voorhees Township has rapidly evolved into a desirable suburban address featuring many high end residential developments. The New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate 295, and other major thoroughfares are complemented by close proximity to a high-speed commuter line for a quick 15 minute trip into Center City Philadelphia. The township is home to beautiful Voorhees Town Center (formerly Echelon Mall), although retail centers are abundant.
