About Chesterfield
Chesterfield is a sprawling, rural township in Burlington County. Chesterfield Township is comprised of three distinct communities or villages: Chesterfield, Crosswicks and Sykesville. The township has a total area of 21.5 square miles and has a population around 6,000. Chesterfield was voted number one "Best Place to Live" in Burlington County and number eight among the Municipalities in the Greater Philadelphia area by the October 2006 issue of Philadelphia Magazine. It is also winner of the Environmental Excellence Award for Open Space Protection and Preservation.
