About Lakeville
Lakeville is a small town in Southeastern Massachusetts. It has five lakes, the largest of which is Assawompsett. There are very few stores and no malls here. It is all residential, farm, and forest. Local tourist attractions are Massasoit State Park, fishing and boating in the lakes, visting historical buildings like the Town Hall, and learning the history of this area. Chief Massasoit camped on the shores of Assawompsett and in the nearby forests. This area is also part of the Bridgewater Triangle, a mysterious place where supernatural events have occured since Indian times. Its center is in the Hockamock Swamp, not far from Lakeville.
