Jefferson, GA is a small town with under 10,000 people, and it has a considerable amount of rural area surrounding. It is a beautiful area with chickens, horses, and cows but also with the standard amenities found in a small city. It was only about 20 minutes from the major city of Auburn. The neighbors were very kind and helpful. It was a town which still had a sense of community, and a very nice place to live.
