This 276± acre Llewellyn Block timber tract is part of Coos County timberland portfolio of 11 tracts being offered in a November 12 Sealed Bid Auction. It is located four miles northeast of Myrtle Creek, with excellent access to Highway 42. It has 248± acres of productive forestland with 190± acres of well-stocked 26 year-old western hemlock, and 51± acres of 19 year-old Douglas-fir reproduction located in the southwest portion of Section 35. The irregular-shaped Tract has 51± acres of Site Class II, with balance Site Class III. Topography is a combination of moderate to steep north-, south-, and east-facing slopes, with an estimated 75% requiring cable logging.
