Studio for $148,500. The lot size is 29.47.
This beautiful 29.47acre property is just outside of Morristown city limits. It is suitable for any purpose you have that works within its Hamblen County Zoning, A-1, primarily residential and all things agricultural. The property rises gently along an old dirt road as it slopes gently up to the top of the mountain. Along the way are several hilltops, roughly about 6-10 ft above the old road, that lay out, I'll call them 'flats'. Several of these tops are quite sizeable and suited, we believe, to be established for housing and/or barn, growing plots, smaller live stock pens, and other agriculture options. Its is very private because of the trees, and very, very quiet. Grand views of the Cherokee Lake & surrounding mountains are quite possible. The last 100 ft or so rises more severely. Looking at the topo map, it appears it might be possible to establish home site at the top. From there the views would be even more magnificent. As the property continually rises, views can be obtained by removing downhill trees with care to preserve your privacy and to catch the view. These 'flats' are also accessible on the outside line nearer to the road by an existing utility easement. It is very well established and is likely usable as a driveway to any of the 'flats' along the way. It is from here that I was able to obtain the lake view pictures in the listing. There is also another interior road, the 'old road', that runs along the east side. It is also good and wide. It may be an old logging road that has been maintained. The total acreage consists of 2 parcels-25.54 acres are on the mountain, and 3.93 acres are in the valley. These properties adjoin at the road but are strikingly different. They complement each other perfectly. The 3.93 acres is a fascinating property. I call it ''The Pocket'' because that's how it is shaped. It needs manicuring now, but truly, it is a beautiful, hidden property that features lovely trees and very green grasses covering the whole length and width. A small waterfall, a creek, a stream and a prolific spring are also features found here. The deer love to come for how protected it is and for the water, but it the property does not perc for a septic system. It is however, usable for any A-1 agricultural purpose that does not require a septic system. It is a flat valley that is hidden between the trees and where it tucks into its own mountain on two sides. The little waterfall is found in the back corner. The creek proceeds from there and run downs the whole length on the far west side. The is smaller stream may be partly from wet weather. It runs from the back corner too, through the center of the field on the road side. At the bottom it crosses over to the creek on the other side through a culvert. Over there you will also find a prolific spring which currently serves the old white house and property that is in between. Open land lays on both sides of the creek and the stream. A pond might be possible near to where the stream crosses over. This may help to better manage the flow of water too. There is a place at the road for an entrance that could provide a comfortable way to turn in to and out of the property in either direction. You'll see it is very near to the neighbor's driveway. Please be sure to ask your agent to provide copies of the maps that are attached to the MLS listing. You may feel free to call our office for these or for showing if you do not have your own agent.
