Directions From milepost 6.9 on NM 14 when driving north on NM 14 turn left on La Madera Road. This is right before the East Mountain School. Drive 4.9 miles on La Madera Road. Turn right on La Madera Drive which is dirt. Take the first right (unmarked and rough). Drive 1/10 mile and turn left. Drive 2/10 miles and turn left. Drive 2/10 mile and then follow the road to the right. Drive 2/10 miles and go past the trailer on the left. Turn right uphill – very rocky and steep. Drive 2/10 mile and turn right. Drive 4/10 mile to where a dead tree in the middle of the road and park. Walk to the left and look for pink flagging tape at APPROXIMATELY at all eight corners.
