There is a launch area just behind the boat shed onto South Creek which is a great spot to kayak or paddleboard. Pull a sunfish out and head onto the beach to sail! There is a large pond in the middle of the island that is a great spot for fishing. There are also great fishing spots on the creeks and surf fishing on your private beach. Ownership on the island allows an owner 4 weeks a year in the very handsome Lodge that has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 16. This gorgeous lodge has floor to ceiling heart pine and is perfectly rustic. This lodge has a generous amount of outdoor living with screened porches, extensive decks, and an outdoor stone fireplace, and stone patio. This lodge is the perfect place to gather with family and friends and "unplug" from the outside world. The island is maintained by two full-time overseers that also serve as full-time concierge for owners on property. There is also a helicopter pad and fire truck on the island. Botany Bay Island is just a ten minute boat ride from Bohicket Marina or Cherry Point. An acre directly on the beach with privacy and amenities is truly unique.
