With a history spanning well over 100 years, Temple was settled in 1882 along the Georgia Pacific Railroad lines that once connected Atlanta and Birmingham. Today, Temple is undeniably the fastest growing city in Carroll County. Boasting a prime western Georgia location, the city is conveniently located just north of I-20, 42 miles west of Atlanta and 11 miles north of Carrollton, via State Highway 113.
