Stretching over 15 square miles, the community of Pinellas Park enjoys a prime location between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.  It is also situated approximately midway between the highly developed metropolitan centers of Clearwater and St. Petersburg.  The area’s major highways lead directly to Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota, and Gulf Beaches.  Two major recreation centers combine with a senior center to offer quality leisure activities for all ages.  Pinellas Park also boasts one of the largest team sports programs for youth in the Tampa Bay Region.  Designated as a tree city, this lovely community takes great pride in its landscaping.  Native plantings are used by the parks department, and the landmark Crape Myrtle trees are known to bloom 100 days during the hot summer months.
