New London Township is a township in Chester County.  As of the 2000 census the population was 4,583.  According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 11.9 square miles, all of which is land.  New London was originally the home of the Lenni Lenape Indian tribe.  In 1741, Rev.
