General Information Recreation Reference

Throughout Central New Jersey, newcomers will discover charming historic districts, fine museums, and galleries that display priceless treasures from yesterday. Historic homes, famous battlefields, ancient mills, vintage railroads, living-history villages, rustic farms, and Revolutionary-era sites invite visitors to step beyond the boundaries of time and experience the sights and sounds of eras that have long since passed. Many of these attractions are remarkably preserved, while others have been lovingly renovated.

Historic Bucks County

Just across the river from New Jersey's capital city of Trenton lies historic Bucks County in Pennsylvania. Nearly a dozen "kissing" covered bridges, charming country roads, wonderful antique districts, fine galleries, and historic treasures are all waiting to be explored.
