About Laurel
Laurel is one of the largest citites in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virgina) area, it covers Prince George's County, Anne Arundel and Howard County. It is positioned as a halfway point between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Dinosaurs were also populous in Laurel during the Cretaceous Era. There are a number of fossils there preserved in a Dinosaur Park in laurel. Laurel is aso the home of Johns Hopkins University's Applied Physics Laboratory, Fort Meade military base, and the National Security Agency. Also housed there is the Laurel Park Racecourse and the Maryland Live Casino.
