Maturing as one of the fastest-growing cities in the entire Daytona Beach area, Port Orange is located between the Intracoastal Waterway and Interstate 95.  This lovely community is home to the attractions of Sugar Mill Gardens, the exclusive Spruce Creek Fly-In, the Gamble Place at the Spruce Creek Environmental Preserve, and many other panoramic parks and pathways.  Fringing the banks of the rolling Halifax River, Port Orange remained relatively stable in population as a resort community until the 1970s.
