Upper Nyack is a village in the town of Clarkstown in Rockland County. It is located on the west bank of the Hudson River, a mile north of where the Tappan Zee Bridge carries the New York State Thruway to Tarrytown, New York. The village has a total area of 4.2 square miles and a population around 2,000. Surrounded to the North and West by stunning wooded hills, Upper Nyack is primarily a residential community with houses ranging from modest homes to impressive mansions.
