Lower Chichester is a township in Delaware County, in the Philadelphia-Camden metro area. The community was named for city in the county of Sussex, England. The township is 1.06 square miles. The town of Chichester was originally comprised of all of present day Marcus Hook, Trainer Boroughs as well as Upper and Lower Chichester Townships.
