The property has approximately 45 acres of pasture with scattered Mesquite and ample Coastal Bermuda for grazing livestock, 30 acres in active cultivation with Oats being the last crop, the remainder of the property being mature Post Oak woodland. A seasonal creek runs along the western boundary. The oat field adjacent to the creek and woodland is major attractor for deer and hogs. The two primary trees found on the property are Post Oak and Mesquite however, Live Oak, Pecan, Blackjack Oak, Hackberry, and Sweet Gum are also present. The shrub layer is composed of Green Briar, Wild Plum, Blackberry, Winged Elm, and Tasajillo. The dominant grass on the property is Coastal Bermuda.
